Post University Training

As part of Goducate’s structured and effective leadership training program to train Chinese to be leaders who will be able to impact the lives of thousands of other Chinese, two interns from China now have the opportunity to be trained beyond their home ground.

Goducate realises that fresh University graduates from 2nd/3rd-tier cities in China need to be trained and given international exposure to adapt to a growing globalized world. These brilliant Chinese students are very good academically but generally lack essential life skills such as leadership, management, business and communication. Most of them come from one-child families and lack the social skills necessary for team work and leadership.

Goducate desires for these young graduates to learn how to better live their lives by educating them in principles of leadership and management involving how to get along with others, setting goals, overcoming obstacles, and others. The program kicked off with first two interns who received 1st phase of OJT (On-the-job training) in Goducate centre in China, followed by real-life work attachment in a company in Singapore because Singapore is an uniquely ‘globalized city’. They will eventually return to their home country to train their fellow students in their respective communities.

Mr Michael Li, 23, from Northeast China, says “I am excited to be given this opportunity to widen my horizons. Shortly after settling in a new environment, I realised I have so much to learn. I just wish I could progress faster!”

Miss Betty Peng, 24, from Eastcoast China, says “I am very thankful to Goducate for this wonderful training opportunity. I had read so much about international business but never had a chance to work in an environment that gives me a good picture of what it entails. I hope to be trained professionally and in turn train my fellow countrymen and share my knowledge and valuable experience with them.”
