Mothers in Iloilo undergo training in health information

Goducate desires to produce enough community leaders who can impact communities with holistic and sustainable development. To meet such a desire, it trains and teaches faithful community leaders who have the heart to help their fellow villagers.

The staff of Goducate Training Center started its series of training for the Health Information Drive for four committed mothers of Barangay Sto. Angel, San Miguel, Iloilo, on June 12. The training takes place at the house of one of the group. The women are trained to give lectures on hypertension, diabetes, benefits of Moringa, and good hygiene practices for children.

They are also trained to take blood pressure and do glucose tests using urine strips.

They should soon be able to help Goducate staff in the next Health
Information Drive.
